Who We Are

Beat Bandit is a browser-based party game at beatbandit.xyz. Players search for songs representing a secret word, while one player — the Bandit — tries to blend in without knowing the word.

Data We Collect

Beat Bandit collects as little data as possible:

• Player names and game data — in memory only during your session. Cleared when you close the tab. Never sent to any server.
• Session data — stored temporarily in your browser's session storage to keep you in the game. Expires automatically.

We do not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or third-party data collection for gameplay.

Music Search (Deezer)

Beat Bandit uses the Deezer public API to search for and preview songs. No account or login is required. No personal data is shared with Deezer during search.

We never store, download, or redistribute any Deezer music. All audio streams directly from Deezer via their embed widget.

Payments

Word pack purchases are processed securely by Stripe. Beat Bandit never sees or stores your card details. Stripe handles all payment data to PCI-DSS standards.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share personal data with third parties beyond what is required to process payments (Stripe) or serve music (Deezer).

Children's Privacy

Beat Bandit is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you have concerns.

Your Rights

Since no personal gameplay data is stored on our servers, there is nothing to delete or export on our end. Clear your browser's local and session storage to remove any locally stored data.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of Beat Bandit means you accept any updates.
